How You Can Help With Hurricane Helene Relief?

I have received numerous offers of help from family, friends, and strangers. Most people don’t know who to trust. Even as a local, figuring out where to send resources that will have the greatest impact or help the most people can be hard. So, here is how you can help with Hurricane Helene relief? Below is a short list of organizations that I have seen getting resources where they are most needed. I have no affiliation with these organizations and make no promises. It is just what I’m seeing on the ground. I will update this information daily as the conditions on the ground are changing daily.

Please don’t forget us!

Appalachia is getting a lot of attention right now. And that is likely to drop off pretty quickly. This recovery is going to take a very long time. While out in the community yesterday, a woman in a small community told me “Please don’t forget us.” In a lot of cases, these small communities aren’t able to receive things like food and clothing. However, they will in the coming weeks. Please keep your support coming!
